RECYCLING can be more than just reducing the amount of waste. Use your curiosity, your imagination, your creativity and your consciousness and you’ll find out how many ways exist to REcycle, REdesign and REuse something. One man’s trash can be another man’s treasure, right? So let’s see what little treasures we can find at home.
What about glass jars? As far as I am concerned.. I’m a big fan of Nutella (well..okay I know it’s not the healthiest food but I just can’t avoid it. I never try to either….) So I was looking to find a way to release my guilty conscience and to whip those guilty thoughts into more productive and useful thinking patterns.
Are you curious enough to have a look into the guide about recycling glass jars?
It’s spring right? And you are probably in a spring cleaning mood? Good! How about starting by Step N°1:
Collect some glass jars…little ones, big ones, small ones…it’s up to you.
Before starting to REdesign those little treasures, make sure they’re clean!
Okay, once you’ve finished washing them, prepare your hot glue gun for Step N°2. (by the way.. it works with normal glue as well)
Look at the following pictures to see the details. Don’t be scared about the difficulty. It’s really easy!
Before your jar starts getting impatient to show off its new look, move on to the next steps:
- apply 2 coats of chalkboard paint
- let it dry
- use your imagination to draw, write, illustrate a label
You’re great! The only step left is to refill your jars with new ingredients. Choose healthy ones to make it perfect 😉
